A Celebration of Education

Nikki Clark won the 'Unsung Hero' award at last year's event.

Welcome to the website of the Proud of our Education awards, brought to you by the Evening Telegraph

Proud of our Education is a special awards event that recognises the achievements of special people within our schools and colleges; those who have gone above and beyond their normal duties, those who have excelled in certain areas and those who have played a vital role in our schools.

How does the entry process work?

You can nominate yourself or somebody else - it's up to you. The entry process is simple. All you have to do is follow the links on the left hand side of this page to find out all about the categories, what the judges will be looking for, and how to cover all the bases with your entry.

Please give the judges as much information as possible to help them make up their minds.

The awards will be presented at the Holiday Inn Corby on Wednesday 13th July 2011. But we need your help, and your nominations, to make that happen so please take the time to make a nomination now.

Why Enter?

2010 Award Winners

This awards event is aimed at recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements of our students and teachers.

They might be unsung heroes or people who have had a positive impact on the school or college.

They might be young people making a difference with their energy and enthusiasm or people who have put in years of support and care.

We know the judges will have a difficult job choosing between the many outstanding nominations - but we still want to hear about them all!

We know there are thousands of people in the county who work tirelessly to help our students to succeed and we know that our students work so hard to achieve their goals, usually without reward and often without recognition.

The awards will be presented on Wednesday 13th July at The Holiday Inn, Corby.

We need your help, and your nominations, to make that happen so please take the time to make a nomination now.
